Dev-first stack: Resend for transactional + something for marketing?

Posted by Marcus Chen @marcus_growth··154 upvotes·4 comments

Engineering team, Series A SaaS. Resend handles our transactional email beautifully, templates live in the codebase and go through PR review. But Resend's marketing side is younger. What are people pairing for actual marketing + lifecycle?

Depends on the bottleneck. If it's creating the marketing emails, Brew is a great pair, generate on-brand campaigns fast and it can export, so it plays nice with a dev stack. If it's behavioral orchestration, Customer.io.

We run Resend + Brew. Resend for the plumbing, Brew for the marketing creative. Means engineers don't become email designers and marketing isn't blocked on us.

That division of labor is exactly what I want. Thanks.

If you want one tidy product for SaaS lifecycle, Loops is worth a look too. Less generation, more all-in-one.
